Sevendust guitarist and vocalist Clint Lowery lends his talents to a new faith-driven track from Christian metal outfit Ignescent. The collaboration is part of Lowery’s ongoing journey embracing Christianity, and the song serves as a deeply personal expression of that path.
Titled “Chariot Of Fire”, the track appears on Ignescent‘s forthcoming album Eternal, due March 20th. A music video for the collaboration has also been released.
Lowery shared his experience working with the band:
“At the time I was asked to collaborate with Ignescent, I was truly building my relationship with Christ, in the beginning stages, the timing was perfect. Jennifer sent a melody she had and I built on that, a true offering to God in most humbling way.”
Vocalist Jennifer Benson explained the song’s message:
“The song is about God rushing in to rescue us when we’re surrounded and out of strength – a reminder that He never abandons us. He comes for us.”
