Metallic hardcore veterans 100 Demons have released another new single from their long-awaited comeback album Embrace The Black Light, marking their first full-length in two decades. The latest track, “Häxan Hammer”, is the second preview from the record, which is set for release on June 05.
Vocalist Pete Morcey explained that the song has deeper roots than the rest of the album, noting its long history within the band’s catalogue:
“‘Häxan Hammer’ is the only complete 100 Demons song making it to the new release that was actually written many years ago. Dealing with post apocalyptic themes and how an ‘end of the world scenario’ could bring together the most unlikely of alliances.”
Embrace The Black Light marks a major return for the band, revisiting and expanding their metallic hardcore foundation after a lengthy studio hiatus.
