Long-running metallic hardcore outfit 100 Demons have returned with a new single titled “Spiritual Obliteration,” offering the latest preview of their upcoming album Embrace The Black Light.
The record marks the band’s first full-length studio release in more than two decades and is set to arrive on June 05 via Closed Casket Activities.
The newly released track continues to build anticipation around the comeback effort, which follows years of inactivity in the studio.
Speaking on the themes behind “Spiritual Obliteration,” the band issued the following statement:
“With the marriage of the political and the religious worlds melding into one giant complete mess it’s been hard to sympathize with the explosion of zealots and their followers when their worlds come crashing down upon them. Over the years I’ve found more truths and peace in alternate writings that are not of Abrahamic origins. Ultimately we will get all of our questions answered. Good luck.”
