I Am Morbid are bringing another edition of their Morbidfest tour to Europe and the UK this fall, with the lineup built around celebrations of several landmark death metal releases from the early 1990s.
The Morbid Angel tribute outfit, featuring former Morbid Angel members David Vincent and Pete Sandoval, will headline the trek with a set dedicated to the earliest full-length albums from their former band. The performances will draw material from ‘Altars Of Madness’, ‘Blessed Are The Sick’, ‘Covenant’ and ‘Domination’.
Progressive death metal veterans Atheist will serve as direct support, using the tour to celebrate the **35th anniversary of their second album, ‘Unquestionable Presence’. British death/thrash metal group Cancer will also have an anniversary set of their own, marking 35 years since the release of their sophomore album ‘Death Shall Rise’.
Narcotic Wasteland and Stellvris will open separate portions of the European run, with the tour moving through multiple countries across November and December.
