40 BELOW SUMMER Announce New Bassist & 25th Anniversary Album Release Show

40 Below Summer have officially welcomed Robi Kirsic of DizneyFist as their new bassist, marking a new chapter for the veteran nü-metal band. Alongside that lineup change comes news of a major hometown show: a 25th anniversary and album release concert set for October 11th at the Starland Ballroom in Sayreville, NJ.

The upcoming performance will be a special two-set event—one featuring the band’s current lineup of Max, Joey, Anthony, Robi, and David, and another performed by the band’s original lineup: Max, Joey, Jordan, Hector, and Carlos. This marks the first time in 15 years that the original members will take the stage together.

Speaking via social media on July 09th, the band shared:

“Saturday October 11th at Starland Ballroom it is the 40 Below Summer 25th anniversary/album release show. We will be performing two sets… to commemorate 25 years as a band. Special guests will include for the first time at Starland: Lions at the Gate (featuring Cristian Machado, Ahrue Luster, and Diego Verduzco), as well as Ra and DizneyFist—with more TBA in the coming weeks.”

They also added:

“We would also like to announce our new member, Robi Kirsic! He’s someone we’ve known for a very long time and has always been a close friend of the band—past and present. He’s a great bass player and an even better human being… Welcome to the band, Robi!”

Tickets for the October 11th event are expected to move fast. The band noted an error listing October 4th on the Facebook event page, which will be corrected shortly.
