40 BELOW SUMMER Debut “Afterthought” Music Video Ahead Of New Album ‘Untethered’

New Jersey nü-metal veterans 40 Below Summer have premiered their brand new music video for “Afterthought”, the final single to arrive ahead of their upcoming album Untethered — due out tomorrow, October 10th.

According to the band:

“‘Afterthought’ captures the band’s signature mix of heaviness and melody, exploring feelings of disconnection, loss, and searching for meaning in a fading world. It’s a powerful reflection on time, decay, and the struggle to hold onto hope while everything around you falls apart.”

The group will celebrate their 25th anniversary this Saturday, October 11th, at Starland Ballroom in Sayreville, NJ. The event will feature two special sets — one performed by the band’s current lineup and another by the original members. Untethered marks 40 Below Summer’s first new album since 2015’s Transmission Infrared.
