New Jersey nü-metal veterans 40 Below Summer have returned with their first new music in nearly ten years. The band officially dropped their latest single, “King Ghidorah,” which arrives via their own Follow The Sun Records.
The heavy-hitting track is a preview of their long-awaited seventh studio album, which was completed earlier this year and is expected to see a full release this fall.
Vocalist Max Illidge co-produced “King Ghidorah” with Zaki Ali, delivering a sound that blends the band’s signature aggression with a modern edge.
