96 Bitter Beings have unveiled a brand-new 2025 re-recording of the track that inspired their band’s name: “96 Quite Bitter Beings.” Originally released in 1999 by CKY, this song remains a signature anthem for the skatepunk-meets-alt-metal cult favorites.
Deron Miller — former CKY vocalist/guitarist and the creative force behind 96 Bitter Beings — fronts this newly revamped version. He’s joined this time around by bassist Cameron DeWald, drummer Tuomas Vuorio, and synth player Matt Sheehan.
A music video for this fresh take on the track has also launched and can be seen below.
This latest offering continues the band’s recent trend of revisiting their roots. 96 Bitter Beings previously delivered updated renditions of other CKY staples on last year’s ‘Return To Hellview’ compilation.
