Acid Bath Announce Florida Show with Weedeater

Acid Bath has announced their first Floridian reunion show, set for June 28, 2025, at Jannus Live in St. Petersburg, FL. The show will feature support from Weedeater and Rwake. Tickets are available now.

This marks an exciting moment for the legendary sludge metal band, who are also performing a series of highly anticipated shows in 2025, including appearances at festivals like Sonic Temple, Welcome to Rockville, and Louder Than Life. Full details of their upcoming live dates can be found below.

This reunion sees guitarist Sammy “Pierre” Duet, vocalist Dax Riggs, and guitarist/vocalist Mike Sanchez joined by new members Zack Simmons (Goatwhore) on drums and Alex Bergeron (ex-Agents Of Oblivion) on bass.

In an interview on the Tales From The Riff Podcast, Duet explained that the reunion was partially inspired by the passing of live keyboardist Tomas Viator in 2024. “The passing of a very good friend of ours that was playing keyboards for us on the Pagan Terrorism Tactics tour had a big role to play in the situation,” Duet said. “A lot of us aren’t going to be around forever… and that’s when Dax and I started talking about getting it back together.”
