ACRES Expand ‘The Host’ With New Tracks, Debut “Push Me Away” Featuring Landon Tewers of The Plot In You

British post-hardcore outfit Acres have unveiled an expanded version of their latest album The Host, adding three new tracks. Leading the additions is “Push Me Away”, featuring The Plot In You vocalist and album producer Landon Tewers. The other new songs, “Take My Last Breath” and “Welcome To The Family,” complete what the band are calling the complete & continued version.

The band shared their thoughts on collaborating with Tewers:

“‘Push Me Away‘ is almost like a confession of self-doubt, a reflection on feeling like you’re the weight holding someone back, and believing they’d be better off without you. When we wrote this in the studio, we instantly knew this was the song we wanted to have a feature on and we honestly couldn’t think of anyone better than Landon. We’re so grateful he wanted to be part of this!”

Solid State Records have set a September 26th release for the overhauled album, with pre-orders available now via acres.ffm.to/thehostcontinued.
