AGE OF APOCALYPSE Team with HIGH VIS Vocalist on Powerful New Single “Impulse”

Age Of Apocalypse have returned with a hard-hitting new single titled “Impulse”, featuring guest vocals from Graham Sayle of UK post-punk outfit High Vis. The track serves as the latest preview of the band’s upcoming sophomore album, In Oblivion, due out May 23rd.

The collaboration had initially been set to extend beyond the studio, with Age Of Apocalypse and High Vis planning to tour together this spring. However, those plans were postponed due to an emergency surgery undergone by Sayle.

Sharing insight into the lyrical direction of “Impulse”, vocalist Dylan Kaplowitz commented:

“‘Impulse’ lyrically is just emphasizing that empathy is not weakness. It’s suggesting that looking through the eyes of someone else one might be able to find peace. It’s specifically touching on police violence and the dehumanizing protocols that are sometimes taken to exert ‘the law.’”

The band’s upcoming live dates include U.S. appearances this month and a fall European/UK run with Balmora and Cross Of Disbelief:
