Alexisonfire debuted a brand new song titled “Dogs Of Chernobyl” during their show in Toronto last night, August 15th.
The Canadian post-hardcore veterans introduced the previously unheard track during the encore of their set, which centered around a performance of their 2004 album ‘Crisis’ in full as part of its 20th anniversary celebrations. Fan-filmed footage of the new song’s debut can be viewed below.
“Dogs Of Chernobyl” appears to be the first new material publicly unveiled by Alexisonfire since the band began working on their next studio album earlier this year.
Back in February, the group revealed that they had entered the studio to begin recording their sixth studio album. Details on that effort have yet to be announced, including a potential release date or track listing.
For now, fans can check out the first known performance of “Dogs Of Chernobyl” below.
