Hard rock mainstays Alter Bridge have unveiled their final advance single, “Scales Are Falling,” ahead of their self-titled eighth studio album, set to drop this Friday, January 9th. The track is accompanied by a visualizer crafted by Marcin Pospiech (Nine Inch Nails, Tool), which you can check out below.
Vocalist and guitarist Myles Kennedy explained the meaning behind the song:
“It’s when you realize the reality of a situation where you’ve been deceived. You see the truth and how harsh it is.”
Guitarist Mark Tremonti added insight into the track’s structure:
“I was excited for this one. It has an atmospheric vibe with a lot of peaks, valleys, and moods. I solo over the bridge, and Myles plays the outro.”
Fans can expect the full Alter Bridge album to arrive on January 9th, marking the band’s eighth studio release.
