Rising alternative metal artist Amira Elfeky has been forced to cancel her upcoming Australian and Japanese dates, citing health concerns and “challenges beyond my control.” The singer shared a heartfelt statement on February 4th addressing fans:
“This is really hard to post, and I know how disappointing this is. Due to health circumstances and challenges beyond my control, I have to cancel my upcoming support and two headline dates in Australia. I never take a decision like this lightly… More than anything, I want to be able to give you the show you truly deserve that feels complete, powerful, and fully present. Right now, I wouldn’t be able to deliver in the way I want, and I have to honor that for both you and myself… I will be back, and I can’t wait to perform for you.”
Ticket holders for the affected headline sideshows will be contacted by ticketing outlets regarding refunds.
In response to Elfeky’s cancellation, Ocean Grove has been added as direct support for Thornhill’s Australian tour, joining Paledusk and HEAVENSGATE on the revised lineup. The updated tour dates are as follows:
Thornhill – Australia Tour 2026
- 02/21 – Brisbane, AUS – The Tivoli
- 02/22 – Sydney, AUS – Enmore Theatre
- 02/24 – Perth, AUS – Astor Theatre
- 02/26 – Adelaide, AUS – The Gov
- 02/27 – Melbourne, AUS – Forum
The band’s addition ensures fans still experience a dynamic and high-energy supporting lineup while Elfeky focuses on her recovery.
