Canadian psych rock oddities Angine de Poitrine made an appearance on the June 21 episode of ‘Later… With Jools Holland’, bringing their masked, microtonal sound to the long-running British music program.
The duo shared the stage with several notable guests on the episode, including Canadian country superstar Shania Twain, GRAMMY Award-winning singer Sam Smith, and others.
For their performance, Angine de Poitrine delivered two tracks from their latest release, ‘Vol. II’, with both “Fabienk” and “Sarniezz” airing during the broadcast. Footage of the performances has since surfaced online.
The band’s meteoric rise over the past year has been fueled in large part by a viral KEXP session that caught fire across social media. That unexpected exposure helped transform the Canadian duo into one of the breakout underground stories of 2026, leading to sold-out shows and growing international attention.
With demand continuing to increase, Angine de Poitrine are set to spend much of the remainder of the year on the road, with multiple North American tour legs planned throughout 2026.
