Arch Enemy are planning a special trip through their archives to close out their North American touring, with the Swedish melodic death metal veterans announcing an intimate Los Angeles show dubbed “Back To The Root Of All Evil.”
The concert is scheduled for November 19 at 1720 Warehouse, where the band will deliver a set focused on older material, fan favorites and what they’re calling “unexpected classics.”
Guitarist Michael Amott is looking forward to bringing the special format to Los Angeles after Arch Enemy performed similar intimate shows across Europe earlier this year.
“Adding this intimate show at the very end of our North American tour will be an insane way to wrap it up. We had so much fun doing these across Europe over the summer, so why not bring one to L.A.!”
Amott added that the band intend to dig deep into the Arch Enemy catalog for the occasion, promising “old songs and forgotten gems” in what he described as a pure metal show in downtown Los Angeles.
The special performance will follow Arch Enemy’s North American co-headlining run with The Black Dahlia Murder, with Septicflesh, Crypta and Thrown Into Exile appearing on select dates.
