Armed For Apocalypse have unveiled a new video for “Lurk” to coincide with the release of their latest full-length ‘The Earth Is Breathing Beneath Me’, which arrived today, April 24, through Church Road Records.
Directed by Cheyne Smith, the clip lands alongside the band’s newest collection of crushing material and gives fans another taste of the record’s bleak, heavy atmosphere.
The sludge metal group, who recently relocated from California to Portland, Oregon, traveled across the United States to make the album. Recording sessions took place at GodCity Studio in Salem, Massachusetts with Kurt Ballou of Converge and producer Zach Weeks, whose previous credits include Deafheaven and Fuming Mouth.
With the new album now available, Armed For Apocalypse continue their next chapter with a refreshed lineup, new home base, and one of their most ambitious releases to date.
