As I Lay Dying have confirmed the final supporting lineup for the closing chapter of their Shadows Are Security 20th anniversary tour, with Kill The Lights and The Curse Within set to appear across the last run of dates.
The newly announced update rounds out a previously revealed Southwest-focused routing that will bring the band’s year-long celebration of their 2005 breakthrough album to a close this November and December.
The final stretch of shows will take As I Lay Dying through California, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, and Colorado, marking the end of an extended anniversary cycle centered around one of the band’s most defining records.
Frontman Tim Lambesis reflected on revisiting the era surrounding the album, noting both the personal and creative impact of performing the material throughout the year:
“I’ve had an incredible time celebrating ‘Shadows Are Security’ over the past year and reconnecting with the mindset that shaped that album in the earliest days of As I Lay Dying.”
He continued, pointing to how the experience has fed into new creative direction:
“Reflecting on that chapter has been both nostalgic and deeply motivating—it’s reminded me of a spark that was always there, and that renewed perspective has absolutely influenced the way I’ve approached writing for the new album.”
Lambesis also emphasized the importance of the final run of shows as a closing moment for fans who have followed the anniversary celebration:
“These final anniversary dates are a chance to celebrate that connection one last time with the fans who have been part of this journey.”
The routing for the final leg had been previously announced, with only the support acts newly confirmed.
