At The Gates are set to revisit their earliest and most influential work with newly remastered CD reissues of their first three studio albums, arriving May 22nd via Peaceville Records.
The Swedish melodic death metal pioneers will reissue ‘The Red In The Sky Is Ours’ (1992), ‘With Fear I Kiss The Burning Darkness’ (1993), and ‘Terminal Spirit Disease’ (1994), all of which have been newly remastered by Dan Swanö at Unisound Studios with approval from the surviving members of the band.
The reissues spotlight some of the most formative material in melodic death metal history, capturing At The Gates during their early evolution into one of the genre’s defining acts.
Pre-orders for the collection are available now via Peaceville’s official storefront.
The announcement also comes during a deeply emotional period for the band following the passing of vocalist Tomas Lindberg last year after a battle with cancer. His final recorded performances will appear on the group’s upcoming studio album ‘The Ghost Of A Future Dead’, due out April 24th.
With both archival material and new recordings arriving in close succession, the next stretch of releases marks a significant and reflective chapter in the band’s legacy.
