ATREYU Goes Dark Online, Teases “R.I.P.”

Gold-certified melodic metalcore veterans Atreyu have taken a bold step on their social media platforms today, September 12th. The band blacked out their Instagram, Facebook, and X accounts, pairing the visuals with a stark caption: R.I.P. Their profile bios have also been updated to reflect the same phrase.

As of now, there have been no reports of cancellations for the band’s scheduled fall tour celebrating the 20th anniversary of their gold-certified album The Curse. Whether this blackout signals a promotional stunt or something more significant remains unclear. Fans will have to stay tuned as the situation unfolds.
