August Burns Red Announce New Album ‘Season Of Surrender’, Premiere “The Nameless” Lyric Video

August Burns Red have officially unveiled details surrounding their upcoming eleventh studio album, ‘Season Of Surrender’, while also debuting a lyric video for the new single “The Nameless.”

The Lancaster, PA metalcore veterans will release the new record on June 05th through Fearless Records, marking their latest full-length effort and a continuation of their long-running collaboration with producers Carson Slovak and Grant McFarland.

Serving as an early preview of the album’s direction, “The Nameless” highlights the band’s signature blend of technical aggression and melodic precision — something vocalist Jake Luhrs says reflects a heavier creative mindset this time around.

“This album is rooted in traditional August Burns Red and I think it’s the heaviest album we’ve written in a long time.”

The record will also feature several notable guest appearances from across the modern metalcore landscape. Opening track “Legions” includes vocals from The Devil Wears Prada’s Mike Hranica, while Australian acts Make Them Suffer and Polaris contribute appearances on “Cerebral Malfunction” and “Sonic Salvation,” respectively, with Polaris frontman Jamie Hails lending guest vocals.
