Alternative metal outfit Bad Omens have reached a new milestone in the U.S., as their 2019 single “Limits” has officially been certified gold by the RIAA. This marks the band’s fifth gold single in the United States and their first RIAA certification since September 2024, when their album THE DEATH OF PIECE OF MIND earned the same distinction.
“Limits” was the fifth and final single released from Bad Omens’ sophomore album, Finding God Before God Finds Me, and its recognition underscores the band’s continued success and staying power in the modern metal scene.
The latter half of 2025 saw Bad Omens unveil a string of singles, setting the stage for their next studio album, which has yet to be officially announced. Fans can expect the group to continue building momentum heading into 2026.
RIAA Certification Note: A gold single in the United States represents 500,000 units. These units include physical and digital sales, with 10 permanent track downloads counting as one unit, and 150 on-demand audio/video streams equating to one track-equivalent unit.
