Bad Wolves have been removed from Skillet’s upcoming fall tour, with new frontwoman Sara “Killboy” Skinner indicating that her OnlyFans account is behind the lineup change.
In a statement addressing the situation, Skinner claimed that Skillet fans conducted “very extensive research” following the tour announcement and uncovered information that the bands’ booking agents and management had not.
She said that the scrutiny focused on speculation that she is transgender as well as whether she operates an OnlyFans account, making clear that while the former is untrue, the latter is true.
The controversy has now resulted in Bad Wolves being pulled from the upcoming Skillet dates. Neither Skillet nor their representatives have publicly offered an explanation for the change at this point.
The tour was also expected to mark Killboy’s live debut with Bad Wolves following the release of the band’s new single “Paint It Red.”
For now, Bad Wolves have not announced their next touring plans, while Skillet are moving forward without the band on their fall itinerary.
