Australian prog/psych metal outfit Battlesnake have premiered their new single “Bog Bringer,” offering another preview of their upcoming full-length, ‘Bogpocalypse And The Annihilation Of Lucifer’.
Due out February 19, the album marks the group’s latest dive into their bizarre swamp-dwelling mythology. “Bog Bringer” serves as the third advance track from the record, introducing the latest chapter in the band’s increasingly elaborate lore.
According to Battlesnake, the Bog Bringer spent two thousand years exiled within the Lake of Mud before being resurrected through a mysterious ritual. Upon his return, he is tasked with ushering in the apocalypse as the fourth Horseman, riding the Pale Steed and delivering judgment upon the sinners of the world.
