Polish blackened death metal icons Behemoth will reissue their third studio album Pandemonic Incantations on September 12th via Metal Blade Records. Originally released in 1998, the new edition will include seven bonus tracks and brand-new artwork created by Eliran Kantor, along with a 20-page booklet exploring the record’s history.
The expanded version features all three songs from the band’s 1997 EP Bewitching The Pomerania, plus rare alternate mixes of “The Thovsand Plagves I Witness”, “Satan’s Sword (I Have Become)”, “Entrance To The Spheres Of Mars”, and “Driven By The Five-Winged Star.”
Nergal, the band’s longtime vocalist and bassist, reflected on the album’s impact:
“Pandemonic Incantations marked a significant leap forward in our evolution. It was a milestone made possible by overhauling the lineup and bringing Inferno into the band – it was a game changer. We recorded the best album we could at that point. To this day, I often hear from fans who say it’s their favourite BEHEMOTH record. Even the sonic imperfections don’t overshadow the mature arrangements and solid songwriting. I’m still very proud of it.”
Pre-orders are now live via metalblade.com/behemoth.
