BEHEMOTH Drop New Album ‘The Shit Ov God’, Unleash “Sowing Salt” Music Video

Polish blackened death metal legends Behemoth have officially released their thirteenth studio album, The Shit Ov God, today, May 9th. Alongside its arrival, the band have unveiled a visually striking video for the track “Sowing Salt”, directed by Zev Deans (Ghost, Mayhem).

Frontman Nergal described the song as one of the most punishing in the band’s entire catalog, stating:

“‘Sowing Salt’ is arguably one of the most brutal compositions in Behemoth‘s catalogue to date. Unrelenting. Unapologetic. Absolute.”

Speaking on the collaboration with Deans, Nergal added:

“The video was directed by Zev Deans, with whom we’ve had the pleasure to collaborate before. He’s crafted a visual that powerfully completes the song — musically and lyrically. And the lyrics? Just as radical and confrontational as music itself.”

The release cements Behemoth’s place as one of extreme metal’s most unyielding forces, continuing to evolve while pushing boundaries both musically and visually.
