Lithuanian modern metal outfit Black Spikes have unveiled a new live video for their track “MOTINA,” featuring a special performance alongside the choir Conso.
The footage was captured earlier this year and has now been released online following the arrival of Black Spikes‘ latest album, “Ydos,” which came out on August 28th through Napalm Records. The live rendition offers a different presentation of the track compared to its studio counterpart featured on the record.
“MOTINA,” which translates to “mother,” serves as the opening chapter in the conceptual narrative behind Ydos. The album is built around a dark fairytale exploring human vices, with each song contributing to the record’s broader storyline.
The band previously described “MOTINA” as the point where the story of Ydos begins, portraying the birth of the vices before they venture into the human world.
The new live performance of “MOTINA” with Conso can be viewed below.
