California metalcore veterans Bleeding Through have released a digital version of their cover of NYHC legends Sick Of It All’s “We Want The Truth.” Previously, this track was exclusive to the deluxe 20th anniversary vinyl edition of Bleeding Through’s fourth studio album, ‘The Truth’.
Vocalist Brandan Schieppatti reflected on the influence Sick Of It All has had on the band:
“Sick Of It All means everything to this band’s career. We were honored to tour with this band at an early age and learned what it meant to be a consistent, humble and professional band. They are the undisputed true godfathers of hardcore.”
The release comes at a meaningful time, as Sick Of It All frontman Lou Koller continues his battle with cancer. Fans and supporters are contributing to a GoFundMe campaign to assist with his ongoing medical expenses.
