Finnish ‘violent pop’ outfit Blind Channel have announced their sixth studio album, ‘Painstream’, which Century Media Records will release on October 30th.
The band have also unveiled a new music video built around a pair of tracks from the forthcoming effort, “Diana” and “No Encores In A Swan Song“. The two songs arrive as a new double single, with Blind Channel not offering any additional commentary on either track at press time.
The group did, however, share some insight into the themes behind “Painstream“, explaining:
“In a world filled with uncertainty, conflict and division, pain is one thing all humans share. Rather than separating us, ‘Painstream‘ explores the idea that pain can unite us, reminding us of our common humanity. We examine pain from personal, societal and existential perspectives, while also uncovering something unexpected: hope.”
‘Painstream’ will feature 12 tracks, including a guest appearance from Aaron Pauley of Of Mice & Men on “Into The Void“.
‘Painstream’ track listing:
01 – “Messiah“
02 – “Youthanasia“
03 – “Stars We See“
04 – “Into The Void“ (feat. Aaron Pauley of Of Mice & Men)
05 – “Types Of Killing“
