BLOOD VULTURE Unleash Horror-Inspired “Burn For It” Video Starring Sleigh Bells’ Alexis Krauss

Blood Vulture, the gothic rock project led by Jordan “Gwarsenio Hall” Olds of ‘2 Minutes To Late Night’, has unveiled a horror-themed music video for their new single “Burn For It.” The track features Brian Fair of Shadows Fall, while the video stars Alexis Krauss of Sleigh Bells in a chilling tribute to the 1981 cult classic film Possession.

Olds, who also directed the video, shared:

“The video is a homage to one of my favorite movies, Possession (1981). Almost every shot in the video is a recreation of a scene from the movie paced to the music. For decades, it was nearly impossible to watch — it was banned in the U.S. and unavailable for streaming for years. Thanks to Kino Lorber and Metrograph, it’s finally accessible again, and I consider it one of the great masterpieces of alternative cinema. This project was basically a Trojan horse to get people excited about that movie again. I’m endlessly grateful to Alexis Krauss for trusting me with this idea and bringing so much energy and emotion to the role.”

The song appears on Blood Vulture’s debut album “Die Close”, which is out now. The video’s release comes just ahead of the band’s run supporting GWAR on their 40th anniversary North American tour, with Helmet and Dwarves also on the bill.
