Taylor, the partner of late Harm’s Way guitarist and HardLore co-host Bo Lueders, has shared an emotional public statement following his passing on April 2nd. Posting to social media on April 4th, she reflected on their relationship, their future plans together, and the deep personal loss she is now facing.
In her message, Taylor recalled one of their final moments together the night before his passing:
“On the night of April 1st, I sat on Bo’s lap to say goodnight. He tucked my hair behind my ear, gave me a big kiss, and assured me that, despite how tough 2026 has already been, we were going to have a great year together.”
She went on to describe the life they had been preparing to build, revealing the couple had recently signed for their first home together and were looking forward to starting that next chapter.
“We had big plans. We just signed for our first place together, and all we could talk about recently is how excited we were to officially have a home to share… There are not words to describe the amount of love I have for him.”
Taylor detailed how the two supported one another creatively and emotionally, explaining that Lueders constantly encouraged her pursuits while offering honest feedback and unwavering support.
“I was his biggest fan, and he was mine… He held me through my worst moments and challenged me to be my best self.”
Reflecting on their bond, she added that their relationship was built on mutual devotion and encouragement.
“Whenever I would thank Bo for all that he does, he would say ‘I know you would do the same for me’. Truly, I would have done anything for him… I was with him until the very end, and I hope that he knows I will carry him in my heart for the rest of my life.”
She concluded her tribute with a personal message to Lueders:
“I love you forever, Baba. Thank you for being mine and showing me the world. I promise to live an exciting life full of kindness, adventure, and delicious food all for you.”
News of Lueders’ death first surfaced on April 2nd through a statement shared via HardLore’s official accounts:
“It is with heavy, broken hearts that we share that our beloved Bo Lueders has passed away.
He will be remembered for his unwavering empathy and compassion for his friends & family and his magnetic, inimitable presence on & off the stage.
We kindly ask for grace and privacy as we navigate this extremely difficult time.
For those struggling with depression or urges to self harm, help is always available. We’re not in this alone.

In the days following his passing, HardLore co-host Colin Young launched a crowdfunding campaign on April 3rd to assist with funeral and related expenses. The effort was met with overwhelming community support, raising more than $164,000. Organizers stated that any funds beyond final expenses will be donated to mental health services in Lueders’ hometown of Chicago.
