British nü-hardcore outfit Bodyweb have dropped a punishing new single and video for “Deadwire”, the title track from their upcoming EP deadwired, due out September 5th via Flatspot Records.
Directed by Martina Pastori, the video matches the chaotic intensity of the track—anchored by the collective talents of Louis Hardy (Higher Power), Ben Jones (Pest Control), pq (Nihiloxica), Luke Thompson (Stiff Meds), Tom Hobson (Dai Tan Films), and Naomi Macleod (Empire State Bastard).
Hardy shared of the song’s message:
“It’s about fading relationships, cutting people off, and seeking truth in a world of lies. Life is full of suffering, but being entirely blameless for your own suffering is a surefire way to becoming disconnected from your own soul. It’s important to have faith in something.”
