Brady Ebert, the former guitarist for Turnstile, has publicly criticized his ex-bandmates over alleged financial and ethical issues. The remarks came in response to a recent Instagram story from Turnstile featuring a sign reading “abolish ICE,” which was highlighted by Jesea Lee on Instagram.
Ebert replied in the comments:
“Lmao, no one in Turnstile cares at all about ethics or social issues in general, they’re just pandering to their audience. At Turnstile’s first free show they claimed all proceeds go to healthcare for the homeless. We raised $10,000 but I watched Brendan steal $4,000 from that and claim he needed to ‘pay the merch bill,’ which was false.”
Ebert’s split from Turnstile in 2022 was reportedly contentious. Drummer Daniel Fang had filed a restraining order against Ebert at the time, though the details were largely private. Ebert addressed the matter in his Instagram comment:
“Also my friends filed a restraining order and guess what, they had two lawyers with them and I showed up to court by myself. The judge DENIED the restraining order because there was no statute in the laws about what qualifies for a restraining order that they were able to meet the requirements of. In other words, they had no reason to file it and it was all over text messages which they showed the judge and the judge agreed with me without me even having to testify. So next time before you spread bullshit misinformation, say that shit to my face.”
Ebert’s remarks come as he prepares to release the debut EP from his new band, The S.E.T., marking his next chapter in music following the departure from Turnstile.

Meh I seem to recall Daniel fang taking out a restraining order against him after he was kicked out for being an alcoholic.
guy who needs to promote his new band and was clearly the problem in his old band, talks shit for attention.
But didn’t mention it for 5 years until his new band put their first song out
