Canadian deathcore outfit Brand Of Sacrifice have returned with their first new music since 2023. The Toronto, ON-based band have unveiled a pair of singles in “Seeing Red” and “This Place Wasn’t Meant For Us,” both arriving with accompanying music videos and serving as the first taste of the band’s upcoming third studio album.
The group wrapped recording on that effort last year, with more details expected to emerge in the months ahead.
Speaking on the two new tracks, vocalist Kyle Anderson stated:
“’Seeing Red’ and ‘This Place Wasnt Meant For Us’ mark an incredible moment for us as our first new material since 2023. While these songs push Brand of Sacrifice forward, they also reconnect with elements of our past, drawing inspiration from the atmosphere and emotion of The Interstice and our sophomore release Lifeblood. We wanted to strip things back and focus on something more visceral, and honest while capturing a sense of nostalgia without simply repeating ourselves. We’re very proud of these tracks and can’t wait for everyone to experience this next chapter with us.”
According to Anderson, the songs not only push the band into new territory, but also reconnect with the atmosphere and emotion that characterized The Interstice and Lifeblood. With a third album already completed, the pair of tracks appear to usher in the next era for the band.
