Breakdown Of Sanity have unveiled their latest single, “Hibernate,” alongside a brand new music video. The Swiss metalcore outfit premiered the track and visual today, September 17, with Mover Film handling the video’s direction and production.
The new song serves as the latest preview of the band’s long-awaited return to the album format. “Hibernate” will appear on ‘Reveries’, the group’s first full-length studio album in a decade, which is slated for release on November 6, 2026.
The 12-track album follows the previously released single “The Hunt” and marks the next chapter for Breakdown Of Sanity after a lengthy period away from the studio.
The band reflected on the journey toward ‘Reveries’ last month, looking back on the decade since their previous album, ‘Coexistence’:
“It’s hard to believe it has been 10 years since we released our last album ‘Coexistence’… A lot has happened since then! We stepped away for a while, found our way back, went through changes, released new music piece by piece and somehow, after all these years, so many of you are still here listening, supporting us and celebrating this music with us. That still feels unreal.
“And now, finally, we can say it: Our new album ‘REVERIES’ is finished. It will be released on November 6, 2026.
“This record means a lot to us. It carries everything Breakdown of Sanity has always been about, but also everything we have lived through and learned over the past decade. We seriously cannot wait for you to hear it…
“We are beyond hyped to finally start this next chapter with you!”
With “Hibernate” now available, ‘Reveries’ is shaping up to be the culmination of the band’s return following their extended hiatus. Pre-orders and pre-saves for the album are available now.
