Bring Me The Horizon Announce ‘Count Your Blessings – Repented’ Re-Recording & 20th Anniversary Show

British metal heavyweights Bring Me The Horizon are revisiting their roots in a major way, unveiling plans to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their debut album with both a full re-recording and a special live performance.

Originally released in 2006, ‘Count Your Blessings’ marked a vastly different era for the band, capturing their early days as a rising force in the then-exploding deathcore scene. Two decades later, the group—now known for their genre-blending evolution into alternative metal and beyond—are turning back the clock to honor the record that started it all.

Rather than simply commemorating the milestone, the band have opted to completely rework the album from the ground up. The newly reimagined version, titled ‘Count Your Blessings – Repented’, is set to arrive on July 10th. The project has been described as a revitalized take on the original material—“reborn, sharper, heavier, and more vital than ever.”

To help bring that vision to life, the band recruited Buster Odeholm (of Thrown and Vildhjarta) to handle mixing duties, further reinforcing the record’s modernized, aggressive edge.

Pre-orders for the release have already begun rolling out in select regions, accompanied by themed merch drops and a nostalgic MySpace-inspired overhaul of the band’s official webstore.

The final track remains a mystery at this time. Longtime fans may recall that the original version featured a cover of Slipknot’s “Eyeless” as a bonus track, though it’s currently unclear if that rendition will return or be replaced with something new.

On the live front, the band will headline a special anniversary show at Manchester’s B.E.C. Arena on July 10th, where they’ll perform ‘Count Your Blessings’ in full for the very first time. The set is also expected to include additional fan favorites spanning their career.

Support for the event will come from Static Dress, Dying Wish, Heriot, Rolo Tomassi, Car Underwater, and Still In Love. The show is being presented in collaboration with Outbreak Fest.

Fans in the UK who pre-order ‘Count Your Blessings – Repented’ ahead of the April 14th presale deadline will gain early access to tickets for the event.
