Canadian melodic deathcore group Carcosa (featuring members of AngelMaker) have released the music video for “The Axe Forgets, The Tree Remembers”, the title track from their sophomore album The Axe Forgets, The Tree Remembers. The video was directed by Ranch Boy Productions and marks a pivotal moment for the band, highlighting one of their most emotionally charged tracks to date.

In a statement, the band explained the significance of the song, noting its heavier use of clean vocals and the personal themes driving it:

“This title track is the culmination of the entire theme and story of this record. While it may sound different from our past releases, it represents the emotions and experiences we’ve carried through the 3.5 years it took to complete this album.

This album is about vulnerability, honesty, and processing past traumas in hopes that it can provide catharsis for others. We hope this song inspires people to open up, find strength in community, and begin healing together.”
