Teenage thrashers Chained Saint have unleashed a new music video for their latest single “Punk”.
The track serves as a preview of the band’s upcoming EP ‘Rise To Fall’, which is scheduled for release on October 9. According to the band, the song takes aim at someone whose bravado and false persona eventually give way to their true colors.
“We all know a punk in our lives. That person who talks big, plays fake, and eventually shows you exactly who they are. ‘Punk’ is about that person, and yeah, this one’s personal. The song is fast, ferocious, and over in 1:52 because that pace matches the anger and intensity behind it. It breaks them down and spits them out like the punk they are.”
Chained Saint have also had some notable support early in their career, with Alice In Chains vocalist/guitarist William DuVall producing the band’s debut album ‘Blindside’.
