Fans won’t have to wait too much longer for new Chelsea Grin music.
During a recent appearance on the Nik Nocturnal Podcast, vocalist Tom Barber shared an update on the band’s next album, revealing that the current plan is to release the record in early 2027. The conversation largely focused on Barber’s other project, Darko, alongside Chelsea Grin drummer Josh Miller, but the deathcore frontman also offered some insight into what Chelsea Grin has been working on behind the scenes.
According to Barber, the band is aiming to release a new single before the end of 2026, though choosing which track to debut has proven difficult.
“Early next year… We were going to put out Chelsea Grin probably like, January, and then before the end of the year, the goal is to have one of our banger ass singles [out.] And I’m going to be real with you, the entire record is singles. So we’re struggling to pick out what song we’re trying to put [out.]”
If the timeline holds, the upcoming release will mark Chelsea Grin’s first full-length album since 2023’s Suffer In Heaven.
Barber also appeared to reveal details regarding a planned November/December tour during the interview, though that information was censored in the final version of the podcast, suggesting an official announcement has yet to be made.
