Experimental folk doom artist Chelsea Wolfe has shared a haunting new acoustic performance of her recent single “The Dark.”
The stripped-down rendition was filmed at Mono Lake in Mono County, California, offering a stark backdrop for the atmospheric track. The original version of “The Dark” was one of two new songs Wolfe released last month as part of her collaboration with Heretic Parfum.
The release continues a productive year for Wolfe, who has been expanding on her dark, experimental sound while preparing for a series of upcoming live performances.
Before the end of the year, Wolfe is set to embark on a run of tour dates across the United States, Europe, and the United Kingdom.
