CKY Officially Add Ex-Soulfly Bassist Mike Leon to Their Lineup

CKY have officially welcomed Mike Leon (ex-Soulfly, Cavalera, Havok, Igorrr) as their new bassist. The band made the announcement earlier today, confirming that Leon made his live debut with them this past weekend at Vans Warped Tour.

“CKY has a new member in the lineup, and it couldn’t be a more natural fit. Mike Leon, known for his crushing bass work with Soulfly, Cavalera, Havok, and Igorrr, has officially joined the band! The new lineup made its debut at Warped Tour this past weekend, delivering a set that felt both familiar and brand new.”

Guitarist/vocalist Chad Ginsburg also shared a personal message reflecting on the moment:

“I’ve watched Mike grow up in this scene, from being a diehard CKY fan in the crowd, to carving out an incredible career of his own. To see his journey come full circle and to finally share the stage with him is surreal, to say the least. Mike’s passion, drive, and history with the band make this the perfect fit. Warped Tour was just the beginning, and I can’t wait for everyone to see what’s next!”

Leon added his own heartfelt statement about joining the group:

“As a lifelong fan, it’s an unreal feeling sharing the stage with the very same guys who sparked my passion to play in a band. Their music and attitude inspired me to pick up the bass and hit the stage! I’m beyond excited to be a part of the future of CKY!”

With new shows and material in the works, this lineup shift signals an exciting new chapter for CKY—one built on history, mutual respect, and raw power.
