CM Punk Pays Tribute To Late Harm’s Way Guitarist Bo Lueders With WrestleMania 42 Entrance Gear

CM Punk honored late Bo Lueders during his entrance at WrestleMania 42, incorporating a personal tribute into the gear he wore for WWE’s biggest show of the year.

During his walk to the ring to defend his championship against Roman Reigns, Punk’s entrance jacket featured Lueders’ name stitched on the right side. The right sleeve also reportedly included the names of several people who had passed away and meant a great deal to Punk, with Bo receiving his own separate placement — a reflection of the close friendship the two shared.

Lueders, who passed away on April 1st, was widely known in heavy music circles as guitarist for Harm’s Way and as co-host of the HardLore podcast alongside Colin Young.

Young was in Las Vegas for the event and was seen carrying Lueders’ ashes in an Undertaker-style urn, taking photos with friends and members of the wrestling and hardcore communities.

Among those present were Danhausen and Brody King, the latter of whom also fronts God’s Hate, and is a pro wrestling star himself in All Elite Wrestling. You can check out the photos of the weekend below.

The tribute served as another example of the longstanding connection between hardcore music and professional wrestling, while giving Lueders a heartfelt moment on one of the biggest stages in entertainment.
