Cognizance Premiere “A Game Of Proliferation” Video, Announce New Album ‘In Light, No Shape’

Progressive death metal outfit Cognizance have unveiled a new music video for “A Game Of Proliferation,” the second single from their newly announced album In Light, No Shape.

The record is scheduled for release on May 01st via Willowtip Records and marks a significant creative evolution for the band. The newly released track arrives with an accompanying video, offering another glimpse into the technical and atmospheric direction the group has pursued on the upcoming effort.

Vocalist/guitarist Alex Baillie spoke about the creative process behind the album, explaining how internal changes helped reshape their songwriting approach:

“This record is a defining milestone for us. Taking on vocals has pushed us to re-engineer how we experiment with the blend of elements in our sound, unlocking new creative pathways to compliment the core identity of the band. What you will hear are four dudes all adding their flavours to the melting pot to create a body of work that felt completely natural to us.”
