Colin Young—known for his work with Twitching Tongues, the Hardlore podcast, and a wide array of hardcore-related projects—was spotted in the thick of the action this past weekend at Tied Down Fest, held at the Russell Industrial Center in Detroit, MI.
During the set from Disgrace, one of the many bands fronted by his brother Taylor Young, Colin took to the pit and let loose with some energetic spin kicks. Unfortunately, one of those kicks landed directly on the face of another mosher who appeared to turn around at just the wrong time.
Footage of the impact has since surfaced on Reddit (embedded below), sparking the usual discourse: was it intentional crowdkilling or just an unfortunate moment of pit chaos?
In alternate fan-shot footage from the set, Young himself is seen taking a few hits, further emphasizing the unpredictable and often unforgiving nature of the pit.
