Counterparts, the Canadian metalcore powerhouse, just surprise-dropped their new EP, Heaven Let Them Die, today, November 7th. This six-track release comes with a brand new music video featuring “A Martyr Left Alive” and “No Lamb Was Lost”. Eric Richter—known for his work with Evanescence and Knocked Loose—directed the video, adding his intense vision to the release.
Vocalist Brendan Murphy offered the following on the EP:
“‘Heaven Let Them Die‘ is Counterparts at our most aggressive — sonically, lyrically and visually. Picking up where Eulogy ended, Heaven Let Them Die details how I came to terms with all I had foreshadowed in the previous release and how that led me to where I am now. This EP is the most authentic representation of Counterparts to date — honest, harsh and without restraint.”
