Courtney LaPlante, frontwoman of Canadian alternative metal band Spiritbox, has teamed up with Riot Games for a new song titled “Ties That Bind.” The track serves as the cinematic theme for the developer’s upcoming 2v2 fighting game ‘2XKO’ and is now streaming with an official video.

LaPlante collaborated on the song with electronic producer and sound designer Joe Ford, known for his work on both ‘2XKO’ and ‘Valorant’. The release blends LaPlante’s dynamic vocals with Ford’s sharp production, matching the game’s high-energy visual style.

Riot Games previously partnered with progressive rock trailblazers Polyphia, who contributed their own theme song to ‘2XKO’ earlier this year.
