Crossbreed are officially set to return with their first new album since 2009, titled Radiation Therapy, alongside a new cover of EMF’s 1990s hit “Unbelievable.”
The industrial nü-metal group will release their rendition of the gold-certified dance rock classic on June 1st as the lead single from the upcoming record.
Radiation Therapy is scheduled to arrive on August 4th, marking a long-awaited comeback for the band after more than a decade without a full-length release.
According to the band, the album’s concept and aesthetic were heavily influenced by their experience attending the 2024 edition of ‘Wasteland Weekend’, the post-apocalyptic, Mad Max-inspired festival held in the California desert.
The event’s dystopian atmosphere helped shape the tone and direction of the new material, with Crossbreed leaning deeper into industrial textures and cinematic nü-metal aggression.
The upcoming cover of “Unbelievable” will serve as the first official preview of that return era before the full album arrives later this summer.
