Despite recent unfortunate tragedy and controversies surrounding vocalist Tilian Pearson, Dance Gavin Dance has released a new single from their upcoming album Jackpot Juicer. The new single is called “Die Another Day” and it can be found below. The album is set to release on July 29th through Rise Records despite the recent sexual assault allegations brought against Pearson.
The allegations caused Pearson to step down as the band’s vocalist to “seek professional help” and caused the band to be kicked off their planned tour dates with Coheed And Cambria. The band still plans to hit the road however with guitarist Andrew Wells handling clean vocal duties while Marc Okubo of Veil Of Maya temporarily takes over for Wells on guitar. Former vocalist Kurt Travis, who is set to be on the band’s headline tour with his band Royal Coda, will also help his former band out while on the trek. The tour dates are as follows:
