Multi-platinum Canadian EDM producer Deadmau5 has officially released his remix of “Fabienk,” a track originally created by fellow masked Canadian duo Angine de Poitrine.
Deadmau5 had already been working the reimagined version into his recent live sets, with the studio version now available to stream.
“Fabienk” originally appeared as the opening track on Angine de Poitrine’s latest release, ‘Vol. II,’ which arrived this past April.
The masked duo saw their profile grow considerably earlier this year after footage of one of their live performances went viral online. Their unconventional blend of microtonal instrumentation and live looping helped introduce their quirky sound to a much wider audience.
