Tom Morello (Rage Against The Machine) will headline a last-minute benefit concert this Monday, June 16th at The Echoplex in Los Angeles, CA. The event, which will raise funds for The Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights (CHIRLA), features a stacked bill of artists and activists.
Also set to perform are B Real (Cypress Hill), Pussy Riot, K.Flay, The Neighborhood Kids, and a special DJ set from iconic street artist Shepard Fairey. The evening will be hosted by comedian/actor George Lopez, with surprise guests promised throughout the night.
Morello announced the show via social media earlier today, stating:

THIS MONDAY, June 16, we take the stage at The Echoplex to raise hell and raise funds for CHIRLA – The Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights. I’ll be joined by B Real (Cypress Hill)! Pussy Riot! This show follows Morello’s involvement in anti-ICE protests across the city earlier this week. His participation comes in response to recent immigration raids conducted by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement. These actions were escalated by the controversial authorization of National Guard and U.S. Marine support, directed by President Donald J. Trump. Local officials have since condemned the move as politically motivated, with court battles underway over the legality of military presence within the city.
